Can I read messages without opening the chat app?
Yes, when the app includes message content in an Android notification. Quietly lets you read that saved preview without opening the conversation. Read receipts depend on the source app and its notification settings. See how message previews work.
Can I block promotions but keep other alerts from the same app?
You can create a rule for a specific app and words in the notification title or text. A “flash sale” rule, for example, can filter that promotion while an order update that doesn’t match stays. Check your conditions carefully: rules do not automatically know what is important to you.
Can Quietly recover deleted or unsent messages?
A preview saved before a message was deleted may remain in your history. Quietly cannot recover conversations from the chat app, messages from before setup, or content that was never delivered in a notification.
Does my notification content leave my phone?
Notification content, rules, searches and on-device insights stay on your device. They are not included in analytics events or ad requests. The free app includes ads and limited usage analytics, which are explained separately on our privacy page.
Is Quietly free? Is Pro a subscription?
Quietly is free with ads, up to five saved rules and 7-day insights. Optional Pro is a one-time lifetime purchase that removes ads, unlocks unlimited saved rules and adds 30/90-day insight comparisons. It is not a subscription.
Which phones does Quietly support?
Quietly is for Android 7.0 or later. Notification access is required to record and block delivered notifications. Availability and compatibility are shown on Google Play. There is currently no iPhone version.
